Enthralled by Kilgrave[]

One day, Emma came in contact with a man named Kilgrave. He was wearing a white dress shirt and a tie. He told Emma to smile and soon, she couldn't stop, he wouldn't let her.^[1]

Kilgrave Support Group[]

Emma heard of a man who could enthrall people. She decided to go to Hogarth, Chao & Benowitz and speak up against him. She was put in a support group for other victims. She listened to Donald tell his story of how Kilgrave made him leave his kid.^[1] She also listened to Malcolm Ducasse talk about getting addicted to drugs because of Kilgrave.^[2] One day, Ducasse called an emergency meeting because Jessica Jones wanted to talk. However, Jones refused to talk, leading Jackson to state his thoughts. When Betty arrived, started asking questions, but Ducasse assured that Betty just listens. Betty excused herself and left with Jones not far behind.^[3] The next day, Emma talked about being happy for the first time. Jackson and Donald weren't and got mad. Ducasse calmed them down and talked about seeing Ruben's neck slit open and he had to hide it. Suddenly, Ruben's sister Robyn barged in hearing it. Ducasse said that Jones is the only one who could kill Kilgrave, but Robyn realized that Kilgrave wouldn't have controlled any of them if it wasn't for Jones. Donald agreed with Robyn that they should stop Jones. Donald, Jackson, and Robyn left while Ducasse tried to warn Jones.^[4]

Later, Ducasse texted the group to call another meeting, but Emma didn't go.^[5]
