The Hardened Jabari Wood Armor is an armor used by the members of the Jabari Tribe on the chest and shoulders.

History[]

Battle of Mount Bashenga[]

Coming to the aid of King T'Challa, M'Baku and the Jabari Tribe dawned the Hardened Jarbari Wood Armor to assist in the retaking of Wakanda from Erik Killmonger in the Battle of Mount Bashenga. The armor protected the Jabari Tribe and led them to victory against the Wakandan Royal Guard and the Border Tribe.^[1]

Battle of Wakanda[]

Infinity War 221 — M'Baku holding the line

Notified that Wakanda was under attack from the Black Order and the Outriders, the Jabari Tribe was dispatched to the Wakandan boarder to help defend it. The Hardened Jabari Wood Armor protected M'Baku and the Jabari Tribe until Thanos caused the Snap causing the end of the Battle of Wakanda.^[2]

Battle of Earth[]

M'Baku (Avengers) — M'Baku teaming up with the Avengers

Joining Steve Rogers and the Avengers at the Avengers Compound to fight Thanos and his army of Chitauri, Outriders, and Sakaarans, M'Baku and the Jabari Tribe arrived with the rest of the Wakandans in their Hardened Jabari Wood Armor to lend their assistance in the Battle of Earth. They fought until Tony Stark gained control of the Nano Gauntlet and the Infinity Stones and snapped Thanos and his army out of existence.^[3]

Attack on the Golden City[]

Attacked by the Talokanil, the Wakandan forces, along with M'Baku and the Jabari Tribe, fought back against Namor and his army during the Attack on the Golden City. Spotting Namor, M'Baku decided to attack him with his knobkerrie. The knobkerrie broke, Namor turned around and punched M'Baku in the chest, breaking his Hardened Jabari Wood Armor.^[4]

Ambush on the Talokanil[]

Gearing up for war, the Jabari Tribe forces donned their hardened Jabari wood armor for an Ambush on the Talokanil. M'Baku, the Jabari Tribe leader, donned a new set of armor with a gorilla face imposed on the front. The Jabari forces fought bravely with their armor taking many hits from the opposing Talokanil spears. M'Baku's gorilla faced wood armor protected him as he was being knocked back by the Talokanil Armed Forces. M'Baku's armor survived the fight fully intact.^[4]

Capabilities[]

The Hardened Jabari Wood Armor is made of hardened wood available to the Jabari. It's strong enough to be used in combat with other Wakandans with Vibranium weapons. However, it can be broken by the enhanced strength granted by the Talokanil Herb.
