After being caught by Jiaying stealing Kree artifacts from their archives, JT James was banished from the Afterlife and fled to South Dakota, where he settled in a shack.[1]
Ajakâs Homestead[]
After the Eternals disbanded, Ajak found a house in the countryside in South Dakota and lived there for years. In 2024, following the Blip, she was met by Ikaris and told him how she felt about humanity and how she did not want to fulfil their mission. When she expressed her intention to prevent the Emergence from happening, Ikaris had her killed and brought her body back to her house.
Days later, Sersi and Sprite went with Ikaris to the house and found Ajak's body.
Two weeks later, Thena, Makkari, and Druig, departed from South Dakota in the Domo.[2]
