God of War Walkthrough

IGN has a complete walkthrough of God of War's main quest line, complete with information on how to unlock chests and other tips on collectibles you may find along the way. 

But if you're playing without the main walkthrough, make sure you don't miss a single chest, get tips for difficult boss fights and much more as you make your way across several realms with the following pages:

• Side Quests (Favors) - Unlock rare gear and see the world with these optional quests.
• Nornir Chests (Locked Rune Chests) - These locked chests are puzzles that involve breaking pots or hitting bells.

There are also entire optional realms:

• Optional Realm: Muspelheim - A series of challenges that unlock cool gear.
• Optional Realm: Niflheim - A roguelike area enshrouded in mist that has you finding treasure within a strict time limit.

God of War Collectibles

We'll tell you where to pick up all the collectibles in the main quest, but these complete lists of collectibles are useful for getting Trophies or finding collectibles that aren't in main areas.

• Odin's Ravens - The 51 Odin's Ravens are green birds you must destroy with your axe.
• Artifacts - In most regions there is a set of Artifacts (such as Faces of Magic in The River Pass or the Spoils of War collection in Alfheim), to collect and sell for money.
• Lore Locations - Read lore off of stones to get a better understanding of the world.
• Treasure Maps - Solve these puzzles to find, you guessed it, treasure. We've included the locations of the map as well as the solutions and rewards.
• Language Ciphers - Niflheim Language Ciphers and Muspelheim Language Ciphers allow you to read additional languages in the world.
• Valkyries - These tough optional bosses give great rewards for beating them.
