Although it's not an amazing sports anime, I can say that I enjoyed it. It might look repetitive at some points and boring from a sports points of view, bit i found it to be a pleasant way to spend my afternoon.
Recommended for mild sports fans and for people that enjoy simple series.
Not recommended for those that are looking for deep plot, and deep character development.

When I started watching DAYS, I thought it had some mildly compelling characters and the potential to bring up interesting side stories. Unfortunately, the series quickly devolved into your run-of-the-mill sports shounen. There's almost no character development, and the storyline feels uninspired and predictable. Even if you love soccer, I can't bring myself to recommend it unless you're a fan of the genre.

Started off strong, but the tricks got old in the middle, and ended a mediocre.

First off its a football anime that started off focusing on the never give up attitude of one player. It really gives the pumped up feel relishing his fighting spirit. But midway the same formula got old and was kinda off logic. Then the anime focus on character building for each of rest of the squad, which was great for a change. But all the time the same old formula on the one player still remains. And alas, it finished without much to be wanted.

Days really started off with great potential, and if only it put more focus on real football tactics like Giant Killing it could have been a great sports anime.

For fans only at 5/10.
