September, after four months away due to an injury, Bonda Natsunosuke is back in the majors. There are twenty-three games left in the season and three Central League teams are in a dead heat for the pennant. In the first place, the Osaka Tempters, in second, the Bunkyo Mops and the Jingu Spiders, with one game out, in third. Natsunosuke plans to contribute to the win in this deadlock situation and win brownie points with the management.

If you liked season 1, you simply must watch this season 2. Wraps things up rather nicely while leaving you wanting more.

If you haven't seen season 1, start there. Though I still maintain it's not for everyone due to it's unique pitch (pun intended).

I might be getting old, but this anime is just amazing. Realistic, funny and educational.
