Hype'd energetic start, and a slightly different style'd end
The starting eps got my attention with its serious mood, the energy it vibe, the visual style & great accompanying soundtracks
Plot despite nothing novel, does a nice job covering several character groups while, ensuring balance screen time whilst showing Joe's fall from grace & road back to redemption. Not only Joe but also other fighters.
Though at times it got Joe side staged for other characters. And also made it all kinda felt like a weird roller coaster of adrenaline pumping action, nostalagia, sense of belonging, some sci-fi conspiracy thrown in together with a nice touch of symbolism told through a narrative story of a nomad and a hummingbird
Fights are still good, usually left each ep with cliffhanging hype. Good try on the effort for trying different plot approach in the last few ep, though felt it could be better
Nonetheless still damn good entertaining with quality visuals, music & action. 7/10 for me

Pretty stark contrast from the first season, showing some of the in-between from how Joe got to where he was to where he starts this season. It also shows how quickly something can become a major problem in someone's life if they're unwilling to face it.
Lot of interesting lessons to be learned from this, and a nice wrap-up to everything. This really could have been a horrible successor to the first season, but they did it well.
Definitely worth a watch.
