Kimura Taku is an art director and CG designer. He was born in Tokyo and graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Nihon University College of Art. After graduation, he joined Touyou Links - a computer graphics studio established by Touyou Genzousho (the former name of Imagica). The studio changed its name to Links in 1988 and became Links DigiWorks in 2000 after the merge with Imagica's motion-capture studio Sakura-Tei. In April 2010, Links DigiWorks was merged into the parent company and became its digital production division, thus making Kimura an employee of Imagica. Since 1991, he is also a part-time lecturer at the Department of Design of Nihon University College of Art.
