Normally a premise such as this... MC starts off weak, then trains and becomes OP but isn't aware has been done numerous times and in the past those anime have been okay, but this one was surprisingly fun and entertaining. This show makes the MC incredibly dense when it comes to his strength that it leads to a lot of funny misunderstandings to the people around him. For the majority of the anime, his strength was somewhat kept in check but towards the end it was exaggerated. Still, this is a fun/light-hearted adventure series with funny moments sprinkled in; that has a decent ending.

Really fun MC & heroine, as a fan of semi-romantic girls-on-girls series (they're just cute). It handles actual social issue seriously in the middle of a ton of gags. They put contrast EVERYWHERE.
You can expect similar plot like others in the genre, with the MC being the exception. She has nice characters depth, switching often between goofy & serious. And her weakness makes her so much cuter & funny, contrasting how strong & calculative character.
The third quarter of the series is a bore with typical fantasy/action scenes, but before & after it are relatively better than similar series (on average).

I've abstained from watching this series when it aired but darned TikTok shoved it in my face too many times so I gave up and binge watched it. Regrettably - it is mediocre. Everything is there to like, but it just does not deliver that punch they could. For many reasons I disliked MC. Primarily for his weird flashbacks to being white collar "doggie". Based on the story, he was not that young when he got isekaied, but his behaviour in new world is kind of illogical. Romance subplot is also left hanging. Ah, found the word, it feels unfinished and sloppy from episode one. But by all means - give it a try, it is not too bad.

The premise was interesting where gamers are sent into a video game to find gaming errors to get reported. Initially, I expected this to focus on quests/adventures and while there is some here, it mainly focuses on the plotline of reporting errors which was okay. Although, this follows a male MC who is frustratingly naive that at times made this a difficult watch. While an average series, this did have uninteresting characters and a "what did I just see" cliffhanger.

From the poster and description I expected something simple and easy like K-On and many other similar anime. But I was pleasantly surprised. In addition to just a good setting in the form of political affairs on Mars, this story has a lot of deep musical moments. By deep I mean... how can I describe this... I believe that the songs at the music competitions in this anime are not just for the script in the anime, but would actually win these competitions. Whoever was responsible for the music and songs of this anime - respect to you, it was very good.
And I am very glad that the setting did not pull the blanket over itself with unnecessary excessive action or far-fetched drama... everything in this anime is perfectly balanced and works for its main idea - music. From me 9 out of 10.

For me personally, such anime become not just normal, but really interesting and deep only if they create a special impression inside me: Cool, now I really want to start playing this music instrument, to do this sport, to cook this food, and so on. Anime about the "inner workings" of something for me is only rated well when it penetrates into your desires. The last such anime about music was BECK many years ago. Now we have another musical masterpiece. Personally from me - 10 out of 10.

Like the moon and the turtle (月とすっぽん)
As how S1 and S2 is, in terms of content. S2 being the moon, clearly from its 25ep as oppose to 12ep in S1.
S2 took its time (in good faith) to develop so many aspect of the realm of Tsukimichi, along with so many side chars
Best of all, none of them are left non-viable to the story, in fact I had come to really like some of the side chars
There were lots of interactions with the denizen of the world and lots of build up in plot
All of this added to the much need depth and adequate complication S2 needed
Having that, the focus obviously shifted away from action combat scenes to exploration and world building
Not to say there wasn't any big fights, but I did wished to see ML and in particular Mio and Tomoe in more epic fights
Spoiler though, my 2 fav waifu took a haitus and went historical culture aficionado and culinary adventure
Nonetheless, it is still very much a moonlight adventure of a watch, high rec if you did like S1 8/10

The closing chapter of a very strong story is delivered through masterful verbal, sound, and visual storytelling. One of the few anime to lift the bar higher than their previous season, and a deserved spot amongst top anime.
In the second season, shogi is more like a secondary plot line, while the main topic is the development of a person's character at different stages in life - through adversity and perseverance, pain and love, effort and faith.
The main takeaway for me is the believable characters and the empathy that I feel for them and their experiences throughout the anime.
A must see vibrant experience for every anime fan.

This follows the MC who belongs to a noble family in ancient Japan that gets betrayed and is the sole survivor. Initially, this appeared to be a childish anime, with a happy-go-lucky start, but the art-style is top notch... not to mention this gets very violent at times. Not only are the characters interesting, the main and sub-plots are compelling. All of the characters, including the villains are portrayed well, that you get invested in them. Going into this series, I wasn't expecting much, but this turned into a hidden gem that I look forward to the next season.

I didnt watch Nanoha Vivid so many characters that appear are like "who the heck are these people", Fuuka also acts like she knows them from somewhere without previously meeting them so, yeah... there are a lot of gaps and jumps in the development of the story but I still enjoyed it, same with the fights. Don't expect too much but you still can watch it on a day you have nothing better to do and feel entertained. Btw, I'm a sucker for characters with heterochromia so...

It's kinda difficult to grade this series. On one hand, it's consistent with what it provides, you can expect similar things to happen, but with more information obtained, new characters, and overall higher stake.
The highs are very nice, I shed some tears here and there. One thing they good at is making the characters totally "human". The flashbacks moments are very meaningful, unlike most shounen series.
Sadly, the lows of this series are unbearable.

Honestly, series I don't like I usually just ignore, but this one I just couldn't, because it's just BAD! Story doesn't make any sense, don't evolve into nothing, main characters doesn't have any appeal or charisma, and in therms of personality they just don't work well with each other!
The antagonists goes from plain generic to straightly annyiong random people. In other words, they add nothing at all!

A very nice story, a kind of "parallel world" isekai, different from what we are used. Not only that, but also we see the universe paying indemnification for moral damage for a person who got shitted over since the day he was born! The art and animation are spetacular! Very few series have so much attention to the art quality as this one. I really like the pacing of the story, nice and smooth, al least until the episode 11. But, from there, it was very rushed. Story focused so much in the "real" world events that, when it came the time to develop the "other" world ones, there were almost no episodes left. But instead of just cutting down events, I think it needed more episodes. Minimal of 16, but the ideal would be 24, and leaving the ending to be better developed in a new season. I really hope that the remake becomes reality, and it's more generous in therms of number of episodes, because the potential of an epic story exists, just needs space to grow!

The beginning is kinda slow, due to the MC, but the structure is well put together and the characters are likable.
The effects and music could have been better, but they do NOT hinder the story and quality at all.
The anime does not take itself to seriously and still delivers a beginning to a decent great story about comradery, party support and individual growth that im hoping to see delevolp in a 2nd season.

The is series always seemed to feel like a tease where you, as the viewer, expect for things to go farther than they in actuality do. This series is very reminiscent of "Maison Ikkoku" except in that series our main protagonist is an upstanding individual. This story seems more like a romantic tragedy, where each episode you wait for the awkward to stop and that maybe things will get on the right track but then nothing. At least with "Maison Ikkoku" you felt there was some form of progress here it always seems to leave me with the feeling that it resets to 0.

Not sure how it compares, but this rendition of it definitely felt generic with nothing really keeping invested in the overall story, I'm not even sure if it's historically accurate in some sense so it may just be a fully fictional history, they showed a prelude at the end of the series of what is to come and I can honestly say i am not in the least bit excited if I see then fine, though I definitely wont go out of my way to watch and it'll probably be the last on my list.

AI no Idenshi
|
Not a masterpiece, but a very interesting anime. I would like this story to be developed more deeply, but this option was not bad either: this story is about a gifted doctor specializing in AI, who "treats" and communicates with androids from ep to ep, which are so similar to people that they age and cannot solve thousands of problems per second. They live among people and have the same rights. There is no action, deep intrigue and such things, just a kind of everyday life. But I enjoyed watching this anime. The only thing that disappointed me partly was the ending, since it is semi-open. That is, it will be good if there is a second season, which may just have more of what this season lacked (it must be according to the context), if there is no second season - this ending can be called normal with a stretch, but I don't really like such endings. I gave it 7 out of 10 and I wouldn't call it "watch only if you have extra time", that would be unfair.

This is basically an anime LARPing in a MMO world... I'm not exactly sure why people are finding this good. The animation is decent, but overall really seems pretty lackluster. There is no fear of death, the real world plays no real purpose in the story telling, the story itself would've been better without the MMO gimmick (a normal fantasy anime). There is no schtick that makes it interesting. I watched the entire thing waiting for something weird to kick it off, but it never happened.
It honestly seems like this is perhaps trying to play off of SAO, but with none of the draw and allure it has. The game itself really isn't even all that different from a modern MMO or something you could find today.
They could've potentially played up the 'AI' which can die and them perhaps being trapped or the story being real for them, but they never did that. Maybe this is a just a kids show and I'm expecting too much of it?

What I love about this series is the recognition of the mC. There are far too many series that let the MC be blind and engage the stupid trope of, "I'm overpowered but don't know it."

This half of this season started out action-pack and was incredible, but slowed down tremendously until getting a luke-warm ending. I haven't played the video game, so I don't know how this anime adaptation compares, but as a whole, this series was alright... it does have a few "wow" moments, but overall, drags on for too long in certain areas. If the lonely MC promises you violence in his quest to reach the top of a delinquent school, you will sorely be disillusioned as this is a furyou anime targeting women (not a criticism, just adjust your expectations), and a terrible one at that.
What you get is a bunch of ikemen who "have a conversation with their fists", with a school of the fakest bad boys ever, whose purpose is to protect the town from the real bad boy neighbors.
This season focuses on a rival gang led by a fun-obsessed manchild, a common women's trope. If that wasn't enough, the worst of these tropes goes to the MC itself who is a huge male tsundere. Most of the time will be spent looking at him blushing from insecurity or barking like a dog from insecurity as well. But, hey, this teenager in search of love will learn friendship and the responsibilities coming with leadership in that anime which is incredibly childish in its tone.

Recomendations are so unfair, I had to make my own to counterballance. In general, this is a show with some huge potential, so much space for the story to grow. For those who say "more of the same", they ignore that the serie is spent almost ENTIRELY in only one city in the previous season. In the second, we are shown to several new places, new people and also new misteries.
The introduction of the church, and it's internal dynamic policy, is even more interesting than the creators have even planned.
The design of the new places (Zircon Tower and Sevenwalls) are unique, not being the "generic random fantasy big city".
If I have to make a critic, I'm really sad that Rem and Shera are even less relevant here, even if they still had potential to grow.
So, I'm recommending here not only for what the seires is, but for what it could've been, and what it still could be one day. This is one of my favorites isekais, ideal for when you want some simple, forward story.

-At times super edgy and violent and at others, melodramatic with piano tracks.
It's hard to care about anime melodrama if I just saw a guy getting brutally murdered before. I'm not a fan of the latter anyway and the two definitely don't blend well.

That said the show expects you to accept a lot of things without questioning them, such as extreme abilities which go underutilized by multiple characters. The protagonist feels kind of lackluster which is a problem when there's little growth throughout the season.

Judging by the reviews everythere (including most of them here) people were just unable to get the point of the series besides all of the theatrics here.
For people like that: the whole plot about humans and bears is just an allusion on how generic Japanese society views being a lesbian (and not just having a phase). Though, one of my frioends said that it was on being actually "different" from the "norm" in general. And the show just ends with MC just saying "f**t it, I will accept that I will be open about my tastes now, no matter if society likes it or not".
So, case in point: if you do not get the allusions after a couple of episodes and just see some strange staff about bear and trials, this show is not for you.

Here the female MC gets reincarnated into a fantasy world that has magic where individuals can make magical tools. This focuses on Dahlia as she grows up and learns about these magical tools and eventually to innovate her own tools. The support characters are solid and even though there appears to be a "villain" in this series, I'm glad the focus wasn't all on that character. Technically, this anime is categorized as romance, but it really isn't... this shows the main characters being in the "friend-zone" and helping each other out. What I enjoyed the most from this anime was the creation of new magical tools, the tests and how to profit while working with different companies. Even though this ended slightly open-ended, I'm content if there isn't another season... but I can see there being another season that focuses more on the romantic side of the MCs relationship.
