· hair colourOnly apply hair colour tags to hair on the top of a character`s head. Do not apply hair colour tags to fur; use the corresponding fur colour tags instead. If the character wears a wig, and it is an important part of the image/appearance of a given character/guise, tag the wig colour with the appropriate hair colour tag. If the character wears a wig as a one-off accessory of sorts, do not tag the wig colour. Please also refer to our Wiki guide on tag colours (link in description).

· · brown hairThe character has brown hair.
· · coloured hair highlightsColoured hair highlights are small subsets of hair, often streaks or tips, in at least one different colour from the rest of the person`s hair. They differ from multicoloured hair, where larger portions of the hair are in different colours.
· · cyan hairThis character has cyan (greenish-blue) hair.
· · gradient hairGradient hair is different hair colours, or different tones of the same hair colour, fading into each other. Note that gradient hair does not cover the tone differences that naturally arise from shades and shadows; if on doubt, it is best to not apply this tag at all.
· · green hairThe character has green hair.
· · grey hairOf a color intermediate between black and white, as of ashes or an overcast sky. Refers to hair that is this color.
· · multicoloured hairMulticoloured hair is hair with more than one colour in its main portions. Do not use this tag if only hair streaks or the hair tips are differently coloured; apply the appropriate hair streak colour tag in those cases.
· · orange hairThe character has orange hair.
· · pink hairPink hair, not much to talk about.
· · purple hairThis character`s hair is colored somewhere between red and blue.
· · red hairThe character has red hair.
· · silver hair -- TO BE SPLIT AND DELETEDPlease do NOT add this tag to characters anymore. Use one of the sanctioned hair colours instead: red, pink, orange, yellow (blonde for hair), brown, green, cyan, blue, purple, black, white, grey.
· · white hairThe character has pure white hair.
· · yellow hairThe character has yellow hair. This does not map precisely to real-life blond hair.

Hair colour tags should only be applied to hair on the top of a character's head.

Do not apply hair colour tags to fur; use the corresponding fur colour tags instead.

If the character wears a wig, and the wig is an important part of the image/appearance of a given character/guise, tag the wig colour with the appropriate hair colour tag. If the character wears a wig as a one-off accessory of sorts, do not tag the wig colour.
