Hi, I'm Afsar Nayakkan from kannur kerala (india). I'm a bird watcher and an odonates enthusiast with over a decades of experience. I have made significant contributions to ornithology and entomology. I have always felt captivated by birds and odonates eversince I was young. Over the past 10-12 years I have spent my days studying and watching the birds and odonate species. Furthermore, discovered several new species in South India, giving valuable knowledge to scientific community. I have also went to events, programs for educating others the importance and conservation of bird watching and wildlife for kids, students, adults and elders moreover I have actively involved in charitable works in Wikimedia common, inaturalist, ebird and many more portals supporting various projects aimed at protecting the wildlife. I love taking photos which made me love the nature and the species more. I believe my dedication to bird and odonates research continues to inspire others to work and Contribute more to wildlife.
