Lord Garnet (New Earth)

Lord Garnet was the lord of the stormy peaks, and one of the most renowned warriors in all of Gemworld.

History

He was a good friend and teacher of Lord Amethyst, and a bitter enemy of Lord Aquamarine, whom he blamed for the loss of his son.

He became a good friend of Amethyst, and gifted her with a winged steed like his own. He was one of the first lords to join her battle against Dark Opal.

Notes

• Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
