Synopsis for "Gang's All Here"

At the Metropolis harbor, Steelworks is hosting a black tie party onboard a fancy yacht amidst protests from anti-alien extremists. Power Girl, under her new alias "Paige Stetler", and her friend Omen have been invited; Paige as a research scientist and Omen as a bartender. Paige is invited to deliver a speech on behalf of Steelworks and she starts up an auction to sell donated items from alien cultures. She says that all proceeds from tonight's auction will go towards research and development of emergent technologies in cooperation with Steelworks. She also thanks to a group of Atlantean representatives that have pledged support to Steelworks' discovery process.

According to Omen, Paige got the objects from a unseen supplier that would ask for a favor from Paige in the future. As Paige reviews the relics, she stumbles upon a yellow object that seems to react to her presence. Before Paige can investigate any further, however, she comes across Axel Gust, a man who claims to have been trying to reach Paige for quite some time and says that she'd be useful to his organization. He gives his card to her but she sees that the card is not labeled.

Before their conversation can continue, however, a squad of alien terrorists, disguised as humans, start wreaking havoc in the yacht, forcing Power Girl and Omen to leap into action. The terrorist leader, Amalak, has come to steal the objects from the auction, but upon identifying Power Girl as Kryptonian, thanks to the symbol of the House of El in her jacket, relishes in the opportunity to destroy her. Power Girl fights Amalak while Omen fights the soldiers and the Atlanteans help evacuate the guests.

Amalak is equipped with weapons designed to hurt Kryptonians like Power Girl and explains that his planet was destroyed by Kryptonians, and since then, he has been wanting to destroy them as revenge for his lost home. He doesn't even care that Power Girl is from a different Krypton. Power Girl forces Amalak to retreat and discovers that Amalak has planted a bomb deep within the yacht. Using her astral-punching, Power Girl opens a portal into the Mariana Trench, thinking it will detonate there without hurting anyone.

Later that night, Paige and Omen return home, only to find Superman waiting for them and playing with their cat, Streaky. Superman is not happy that Paige threw a bomb into a deep-sea ecosystem protected by Atlanteans, when she could have thrown it into outer space, especially because human-Atlantean relationships have been strained since the Genesis disaster and he barely convinced the Atlanteans that Power Girl's actions were not an act of war.

Power Girl apologizes for her recklessness and Superman reveals that he also wanted to inform her about a series of fatalites caused in the tropics by a Kryptonian virus. According to S.T.A.R. Labs, this virus emanated from Power Girl's Krypton. Superman needs Power Girl to go the Fortress of Solitude in the Bermuda Triangle to find a way to stop it, otherwise, this virus will destroy humanity.
