Seamanship

Sometimes compared with "fishing", Seamanship is a term used to describe the ability of some characters to operate a boat. Characters with this ability are called "seaman", "sailors" and sometimes pirates. One of the necessary skills for seamanship aside from understanding how to operate a boat is navigation. With a combination of communications, mechanical skill and leadership, characters that are very skilled in this ability are known as "Captains" and lead whole crews.
