Migrate to the new Place Data Fields in the Places SDK for Android 4.0

In version 4.0 of Places SDK for Android, several of the Place data fields (Place.Field) changed. The old fields have been deprecated and will continue to work until they are removed, in accordance with the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service. However, apps that include deprecated fields will return build warnings. In addition, new Place data fields were added in version 4.0. The following sections provide details on field changes and new fields, as well as field usage, billing, and pricing.

Field changes and deprecations in version 4.0

The following table lists the deprecated fields and their replacements:

Note: Place.Field.ACCESSIBILITY_OPTIONS is only available in the Places SDK (New). If you are using the Places SDK, continue using Place.Field.WHEELCHAIR_ACCESSIBLE_ENTRANCE.
