That's kind of like calling John Fahey a "non-electric guitar player".
"Steel guitar" is the basic type, and needs no qualification. When refering to the pedal form of the instrument, one would say "pedal-steel guitar player". But for Cindy, "steel guitar player" is sufficient. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.253 (talk) 19:36, 6 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
