As award inferno is so popular? much more than Inferno operating system? -- Taku Insert non-formatted text here

I don't know

This page is missing any reference to Dante's Inferno, somebody should probably add that...

Inferno an absinth based cocktail?

Original to Christianity or pagan in origin (like Hades)?

edit

The "infernus" of early Christian Latin, was that term used by pagan Romans to mean the abode of the dead? Or is it a phrasing original to Christianity? When Latin documents from the pre-schism church say "infernus," what do the Greek-language texts say? Gehenna? Hades? Jonathan Tweet 01:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup

edit

This page was marked for cleanup per WP:MOSDAB. I removed the following entries, mainly for non-notability:

I also removed the following entry because I'm unsure in how far it is notable and I didn't want to create a separate article for it. If you feel it is notable, create a stub article and link it from this dab page with a short explanation:

  • Inferno (event), an inter-B' School events is held annually at the Army Institute of Management Kolkata campus. Spanning two days of non-stop events, Inferno draws hundreds of participants from India's premier institutions and features a host of events like - Ad Mad Show, Negociado, BrandIT, Cogitate, Sell your face, Die Hard, Finance Doctor, Face 2 Face, Manager Deems, Cook something up, Bulls and Bears and two online events open for worldwide B School students Creative CV Writing and Blog Hunt.

Cleanup 2

edit

I also removed several new entries for non-notability, lack of proof of notability, or lack of wiki links. If someone really wants to have them listed on the dab page, write the article first (or make sure the main linked-to article mentions them).

Inferno, the unit

edit

To whomsoever it may concern! Sir, I have given the link which ascribes the astrophysical unit inferno, which is equal to 1 billion kelvin <http://encyclopedia.farlex.com/inferno>. It is not a made-up unit. பரிதிமதி (talk) 15:22, 4 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Actually, the link is for subscribers only, so I can't read it. Have you got another reliable source for this fact? StAnselm (talk) 11:51, 15 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
I certainly can't find it in any reliable sources, only in pages copied from Wikipedia. -- Radagast3 (talk) 15:21, 15 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
