Surely there can be more detail on his employment timeline?
edit"He became the channel controller for BBC Two in June 2004, a position he held until 2008. He was appointed temporary controller of BBC One following Peter Fincham's resignation on 5 October 2007. ... Keating was previously Director of Archive Content for the BBC. He was announced as chief executive designate of the British Library in May 2012, to succeed Dame Lynne Brindley."
When did he leave the BBC? Did he leave as Director of Archive Content? How "temporary" was his controllership of BBC One? Harfarhs (talk) 10:48, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
Tone of page altered to lessen criticism post cyberattack
editNotably the links I provided and to the blog remain but the legitimate quotes about his reponse have been minimised to provide a supportive take rather than critical view? Greenpark79 (talk) 04:59, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- You'll have to check the edit history to see who made exactly what changes, but I cleaned up the section a while ago to remove content which was not about Keating. There is an entire article about the BL cyber attack where details of the attack and the response can be added. This article is about Keating, so should focus on what the sources specifically say about him. Cheers, Joe D (t) 17:33, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
