Hello, I'm George! I'm a semi-active Wikipedian generally contributing by reverting vandalism or adding to articles which I am experienced in the subject of. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page.
Here on Wikipedia, I hold rollback and reviewer rights.
I am a software and web developer. I've worked on many MediaWiki wikis over the past few years, both as a community member, administrator and often times a developer. My contributions to MediaWiki software, extensions, and skins can be found at my MediaWiki.org user page.
If you are curious, I am a 26-year-old human.
I used to contribute to many wikis on Wikia, primarily on wikis such as Brickipedia, where I still held adminship until a mass-removal of admins by Wikia staff. Brickipedia has moved to its own hosting platform, later acquired by ShoutWiki, and my user page can be found there.
I occasionally use Wikimedia IRC channels such as #wikipedia and #wikimedia under the nick "georgebarnick" with the cloak "@wikimedia/countervandalism.GeorgeBarnick
".
Other Wikimedia sites I contribute to include Wikidata and MediaWiki.org.
Outside of wikis, I own a leading managed IT service provider in my hometown of Fredericksburg, Virginia where I work full time, and have spent a few years as a commercial photographer on the side.

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
|
Well, seeing that today's your first day using Huggle, I see that you've done a much better job of mastering it, compared to MY first day with Huggle (I remember being so confused by the controls that I reverted only one edit... but now I use that program like a pro!). Since I ran into you a couple of times, and seeing that you don't appear to have a barnstar yet (have you archived your talk page?), I think I'll give you a barnstar! Twinkle, STiki, and popups can also assist in anti-vandalism efforts, but I guess I shouldn't overwhelm you with suggestions. Oops. K6ka (talk | contribs) 02:03, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
