I worked for Leeds Museums & Galleries between 2013 and 2023. As a Wikimedia volunteer, I encouraged the organisation to think about how it might work with Wikimedia.
Project Placement
editIn 2019 I applied for internal funding and was successful in recruiting someone to do some preliminary work on LMG and Wikipedia. The placement was Leedsproject2019. Please refer to their user page for their contributions. Particularly relevant are:
- Cyril Livingstone (donor)
- Elizabeth Gascoigne (donor)
- Emily Meynell-Ingram (donor)
- Laura Gwendolen Douglas Galton Gascoigne (donor)
Leedsproject2019 subsequently went on to work as Wikimedian in Residence for the Science Museum Group.
