Bureaucrat note: Log in to your new it account. Use the "preferences" menu (it's top right, between your userpage and watchlist on my screen) to claim the SUL account. Then post in English on your it user talk page that you've done this. Finally, come back here and post the diff of the talk page edit! Cheers. --Dweller (talk) 13:49, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot understand... Also because I'm italian and I don't speak english very well... -- SteGrifo (talk) 19:01, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Message apparently not received. New username is also a veiled reference to the so-called "white pride" movement, see 311 (number)#Notable uses of numerical value, this is a code for the KKK. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:28, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
0311 is the code for infantry riflemen in the marines, 311 is the code for the KKK. Not sure how much to assume good faith on this coincidence, but regardless, I don't think the new username will be as obviously offensive. Discussion is ongoing at AN/I. Kaldari (talk) 02:01, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Will, the username change didn't seem to go through (job queue issue? I don't know how these things work), but if you were going to redo it, bear in mind that I've blocked the user for trolling. Not a username block, but a block block. --Floquenbeam (talk) 02:20, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the AGF, but actually I'm evidently just senile and forgot to push the button! WJBscribe (talk) 14:22, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - new name is apparently also problematic and user is now blocked on behavioural grounds. WJBscribe (talk) 14:22, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dara Tosaigh about changing username, nope I'm good with my real name. Your site is confusing me :(. As for publishing my page itself I wasn't ready to do that yet until I have some more notice anyways, just getting it ready. I understand I can keep it in edit format and work on it in the meantime. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dara Tosaigh (talkcontribs) 17:13, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I hadn't thought about that. In that case, can I request my first pen name (Harry Donovan) be changed to anotehr pen name I currently use (Michael Parker)? If I could avoid the whole process again, I would be greatful. If not I totally understand, I would simply like for you to link the name-change requests page for me. Regards

I can process such a name change, but I think you may have misunderstood. Changing your name will not mean that you will be permitted to reference yourself by adding links to the "ehairgrowthremedies" site, which appears not to meet our criteria for reliable sources. Please see Wikipedia:Reliable sources (see also: Wikipedia:External links). –xenotalk 21:00, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem, thank you for assisting. So please go forth with my additional pen name - Michael Parker. We'll see if I can get some magic happening the second time around...

Ok, however those articles are published on article directories... Should I link back to the article directory it is published to (EZA)? I always thought Ezines is a highly considered article directory. I have also been accepted to Buzzle & Ehow, however the articles I used as sources aren't on there, as I can't publish my own articles on there if they are already on my own site. The reason I wanted a name change was because I was told that I couldn't provide a link to a site which has my name (pen name) on it, no matter what the relevance is (which in this particular case is highi in my opinion). I simply want to be acknowledged for my personal contribution. I saw on article which was clearly light on the nutritional aspect (non-existant), and I knew my information was correct. Would the linking be credible if I were to provide links to scientific studies carried out on the subject matter? I can, however the articles I wanted to link back to compile all the data together. I hope I'm not complicating things here, I just want to emphasize that I'm not simply spamming or anything, and that all I desire is some recognition. Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Harry Donovan (talkcontribs) 23:36, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
