Talk:1:72 scale

This article needs a little more balance on the difference between 1/72 and 1/76 scales. The difference is theoretically 5.6%, which is not easily noticeable without measuring. Since models in these two scales are often slightly oversize or undersize, the difference between the two scales can vary from negligible to perhaps as much as 10%. The difference in a six-foot human figure in these scales is just over 1mm: 23.7mm in 1/76 vs 25mm in 1/72. This is not clearly not noticeable at all. I suggest some corrections to the article in this area, which I will do myself shortly unless some reasons otherwise are presented here.

Modelers and English

[edit]

If nothing else, this article demonstrates that modelers have a poor command of the English language - either that or most of the text was written by non-English speakers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.171.131.187 (talk) 18:31, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
