Montgomery Ward Brand names
[edit]This article makes the statement that "Mongomery Ward" <Made> sets under the "Admiral" brand. While I have heard of "wards Airline" IFAIK, Admiral was made by the Admiral Radio Corporation of Chicago, and Port Credit Ontario. (that being the name on the back of my 1954 Admiral TV)
Can someone please check on this, the same statment is in the article on Admiralcmacd 19:11, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Please note that I have moved the statement you refer to from Admiral into Admiral (disambiguation). Fourohfour 13:59, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
I am not sure exactly how to ADD this comment to "Cartrivision" but here goes. In July 2010, I read the Cartrivision article and made a few edits, mainly adding a few details. After such adding, I saw the sources at the bottom of the page and noticed that I had no published sources. But the sources were from those who WROTE about Cartrivision. I was there. I was the Chief Financial Officer of the Cartridge Rental Network joint venture (of Columbia Pictures and Cartridge TV, Inc.). While I worked directly with Lawrence Hilford (who should be somewhere in these Wikipedia pages) and Frank Stanton, who is in these pages, I (we, for that matter) published nothing other than information for our franchisees. However, should it be necessary to prove some of these facts, I have in my office at this very minute, two rental movie cartridges (Cactus Flower and Guess Who is coming to Dinner) as well as the operations manual which I helped produce back in 1971. I treasure them and would not part with them at any price. Nonetheless, I'd be happy to take a picture of any of the three of them and send it to Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mpwinsma (talk • contribs) 20:45, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
