The image in the article (Image:Jumeirah Rd.jpg) is incorrect. Although it is titled "Jumeirah Rd," it is actually Umm Suqeim Road (D 63). If you look closely, you can see that it even says (on the sign) that D 92 is approaching. The image should be removed or replaced. Hmm, interesting...I see what you're saying and I'm confused with the road sign. Umm Saqeem Rd (D 63) runs perpendicular to D 94 & D 92 and doesn't come that close to Jumeriah Beach. The proximity of Burj Al Arab in the image leads me to believe that this road is in fact Jumeirah Road. What the sign on the right is saying is that the localities of Jumeirah and Umm Saqeem are to the right (which would be true if this were Jumeirah Road). It also has this Jumeirah Road-like look to it...I know that doesn't really count for much...I'll try to confirm this with some people in Dubai. No, the road in the image is Umm Suqeim Road (D 63), not Jumeirah Road. The white front of the Burj Al Arab faces inland and is parallel to Jumeirah Road. Since the image is facing directly towards the Burj Al Arab (and not from the side or at an angle), then it is not Jumeirah Road. Look at this image. It is hard to see, but the intersection on the bottom, left-hand corner is where Jumeirah Road and Umm Suqeim Road meet. The road that heads toward the Burj Al Arab is Jumeirah Road. Also, look at this map. Umm Suqeim Road is almost aligned with the Burj Al Arab, as can be seen in the image on the article page. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 22:29, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
