Neutrality
[edit]Perhaps, as a friend of Sean Kennedy's, my own neutrality may be in question. That said, my friend was senselessly murdered, and I will never forget having to pull over on the highway when I found out to cry. I live in Maryland, not South Carolina, and though we may like to think ourselves above this sort of thing here, it can - and does - happen everywhere. Perhaps a few lines in this article could be reworded in order to better and more neutrally illustrate Sean's death, but that said, I think this article deserves expansion if anything - as well as a picture of the deceased. I will inquire about putting one up to Sean's Last Wish and to Elke Kennedy. Spiral5800 (talk) 12:25, 24 April 2011 (UTC)

The warrant stated that the act was "a result of the defendant (Moller) not liking the sexual identity of the victim."

What is the lasting significance of this event ? was it a catalyst for something else ? there is an unsourced claim that victims mother set-up an organisation after his death but that is not expanded on, therefore what is the encyclopaedic relevance of this ? The charity is called Sean's Last Wish (http://www.seanslastwish.org/). It was a big deal when it happened and it's a good example of the "gay panic defense" being abused. - John 23:56, 24 January 2012 (EST) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.161.133.101 (talk)
