Number of worms
[edit]15 worms? I read this book years ago so I might be--67.142.130.14 (talk) 23:13, 10 February 2010 (UTC) wrong, but wasn't it 50? 211.26.63.202 13:55, 21 August 2005 (UTC)
- It was 50. On a side note, this article should be expanded to explain why it's on the banned books list. Dariustriplet 02:26, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
- It was 15 worms and the bet was that he would win $50 dollars if he ate 1 worm per day for 15 days. 68.189.146.193 21:54, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

- This is incorrect. I just read the book and it is 15 worms at least in the edition I have —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.58.181.132 (talk) 04:35, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Hang on!
[edit]Wait... I thought the book was about a contest on Conservation... If this isn't it, then what was the name of that book? Tinlv7 20:45, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Plot Summary
[edit]I have rarely read such a horrific plot summary. Someone please fix it. Make the pain go away... 130.111.16.108 20:34, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Current summary was (for the most part) written by a nine year old. You are invited to make it better. Worenklein (talk) 04:42, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Indeed it was horrid. I read it and thought I could have done better in my sleep. Someone, please fix this.
Removing sketchy bit
[edit]There's a bit on the end about in the sequel, continuing to eat worms, becoming aggressive, picking fights with girls until Alan feeds him only veggies for a day. I haven't read the sequel, but even the article on it doesn't mention it, and it doesn't seem like a sensible continuation. Taking it out on the presumption it's crap. Cantras 20:00, 31 October 2007 (UTC) how to eat fried worms is a good book!!!!!! u should let kids read it alot so they can get the iminge!!!!!!!!!!!
Sequels?
[edit]"The story continues in its sequel How to Fight a Girl, which has also been released under the title How to Get Famously Rich."
Is this true? Some of the professional and visitor reviews posted at Amazon suggest yes, but their content casts doubt.[1]
