Verification of content: no in-line citations in the article

[edit]

The article presently has two general references. However, the article does not have any in-line citations, just a blank reflist. To ensure verifiability of the article, and avoid any potential challenges to historical claims in the article, in-line citations will be necessary. For this reason, I am adding the Refimprove template. (Belshay (talk) 20:15, 19 August 2015 (UTC))[reply]

For example, in-line citations would disambiguate for other editors whether or not there is any original research in the "The legend of the 365 children" section of the article with sentences like:

  • "A clearly 17th century solution to this dilemma was to explain that the last child was a hermaphrodite."
  • "From notes made by her widower, we know that her death was unusual."(Belshay (talk) 20:32, 19 August 2015 (UTC))[reply]
