     Mary Kawena Pukui & Samuel Hoyt Elbert co-authored many books. Perhaps it would be good to work on a shared bibliography for both & include it as a sub-section in both articles.

The Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame gives her name as Mary Kawena Pukuʻi (with a ʻokina in her last name). Should we move this article to Mary Kawena Pukuʻi (with a redirect from Mary Kawena Pukui)? Peter Chastain ^{[habla, por favor]} 10:00, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source of this unlikely name? It was added in 2007 with no reference and there is still no reference; Google Books has zero hits for it, and the few regular Google hits all appear to be taken from this article.
