Definition and example appear inconsistent
[edit]The definition seems to imply most adjustments occur prior to closing; but, the example appears to refer to an event that occurs after the closing. I have no expertise in this area. It would be helpful to:
- clarify the time frame during which purchase price adjustments may be made;
- clarify how many (if more than one) purchase price adjustments may occur; and,
- form an example more consistent with the definition.
- Current definition: Purchase Price Adjustments capture the change in value of an asset typically between the negotiation and closing.
- Current example: ... Following the closing, Antonio approached Shylock ...
