Rod Carey first Temple head coach fired since Bobby Wallace
[edit]Hello, I am fairly new to Wikipedia editing and do not wish to overstep any boundaries.
I was reading the entry for Rod Carey's Temple tenure and it is stated that he is the first Temple head coach fired since Bobby Wallace in 2005. I am not entirely sure if that is true. From the Temple University's website owlsports.com "Head Football Coach Bobby Wallace today announced that he will not seek renewal of his contract at the conclusion of the 2005 season" [1]. It appears that he and the university parted ways, as opposed to him being fired.
I believe Jerry Berndt was the last Temple coach fired, which occurred in 1992. [2]
