Rust shooting incident

On March 6, 2024, armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for negligence; jurors found that she had failed to insure that the gun did not contain live ammunition. ^[1] First assistant director David Halls had previously pleaded no contest to the charge of the negligent use of a deadly weapon.^[2]
