The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:59, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Combat Approved moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Combat Approved, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ––FormalDude talk 03:31, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose things have changed since 2012. Anthropophoca (talk) 03:45, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Pretty sure this wouldn't fly in 2012 either. ––FormalDude talk 03:46, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
👍
This article will be notable enough once more links to it are added Anthropophoca (talk) 03:54, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kh-59, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gadfly. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Combat Approved

[edit]

Hello, Anthropophoca. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Combat Approved".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 03:54, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've reverted several edits you made to the article giant anteater last month, where you added new information without supporting references. Even if some information seems obvious to you (eg "keeping them sharp"), you need to provide sources to support that assertion while editing an article. The source that actually supported the sentence you modified (available here) does not mention keeping claws sharp at all; it hypothesizes that knuckle-walking evolved as a way to keep the long claws out of the way while walking and make it easier to walk. Also, you linked Foraging in the heading; per MOS:HEADINGS, headings should not include links. AryKun (talk) 09:10, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi there! I noticed you added a new reference to the Hypalocrinus article. Could you please fix the reference to remove the red error? References should not have both a |page= and |pages= parameter. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 14:10, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation pages

[edit]

I see that you have previously been notified by automated processes, but I think you must not have understood that linking to a Wikipedia:Disambiguation page from the text of an article is not allowed. Figure out which article page to link to or do not add the link. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 16:34, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but the page did not make it easy to determine which type of hawthorn is the correct one to link to. I did ensure that the page would direct the reader to appropriate section of the disambiguation page to start reading, and as i am more experienced in zoology i did add links that elaborated on the types of animal that utilize quaking aspen as a food resource. Links that were removed by your reversion. Anthropophoca (talk) 23:52, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
