Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, AutorisedUser673, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Social media content farms, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Belbury (talk) 12:12, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Social media content farms requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.creatorhandbook.net/what-is-a-content-farm-and-why-does-it-matter/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Control copyright icon Hello AutorisedUser673! Your additions to Social media content farms have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 12:31, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'm still trying to learn about editing, and I also remade the article, without any copyright infringing content. AutorisedUser673 (talk) 16:13, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop

Why do you keep removing the sandbox header? 98.235.155.81 (talk) 18:41, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Its already here, in the source, at the top, is says <span style="display: none;">{{Please leave this line alone (sandbox heading)}}</span> AutorisedUser673 (talk) 18:44, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously?! I look this is not the true sandbox header you literally keep removing the header. 98.235.155.81 (talk) 18:47, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

All of this was just a misunderstanding so it has been settled down now. 98.235.155.81 (talk) 22:11, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
ok, and I requested speedy deletion on some drafts. AutorisedUser673 (talk) 22:12, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
AutorisedUser673, do not edit war over the contents of the Wikipedia Sandbox. You can't ask for your content to be kept as this is a communal page for all editors, especially new editors, to experiment and practice their editing skills, it's not a location to work on an article draft. Use your own sandbox for that or Draft space. An edit war is an edit war no matter what page it's on so please stop or you could be blocked. Liz Read! Talk! 01:01, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:AutorisedUser673/Templates/TalkBlocked requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

specifically designed to trick users, clearly could be used for disruption

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Gaismagorm (talk) 19:14, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is specifically designed by him to trick other users. And I keep being stalked because the user knows my location, he even wants to remove the sandbox too just because I keep reverting his edits removing the sandbox header today is going nuts. 98.235.155.81 (talk) 19:16, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
AutorisedUser673, this is vandalism, plain and simple. Please do not make "fake" templates to fool editors. This is an encyclopedia, not some website to play jokes on other editors. If this is too boring for you, maybe social media is more your speed. We are here to build an encyclopedia not to play tricks on each other. Liz Read! Talk! 00:53, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think Liz proves a good point you shouldn't just make templates to fool other users, a terrible example of WP:NOT WP:NOTHERE. 2601:981:4401:1CC0:81D7:744C:2435:E189 (talk) 11:28, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edits on Brain rot

[edit]

Information icon Hi AutorisedUser673! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. -1ctinus📝🗨 23:22, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Channel 103 2024.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Channel 103 2024.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:30, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what the licence is. I just got it from the website AutorisedUser673 (talk) 10:02, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Matthew John Planner.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Matthew John Planner.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:30, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article TheNick56 has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on TheNick56 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of TESTING PAGE

[edit]

Hello AutorisedUser673,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged TESTING PAGE for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

User sandbox

[edit]

Hi, I noticed your recent edits to Ligma Joke and see that you self-reverted them. Are you aware that each user can create their own personal sandboxes in userspace? I use mine often to draft new articles and experiment and I'm less likely to break something though I sometimes manage to do that anyway. Your sandbox is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AutorisedUser673/sandbox Cheers! BBQboffingrill me 20:12, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm TechnoSquirrel69. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of edit wars on Wikipedia, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 22:52, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
