Decline

[edit]

Your welcome is courteous and respectful. In the same tone I respectfully decline. --BenjaminDavidAharonDvi (talk) 19:17, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tachash

[edit]

Benjamin, as a religious Jew I understand your frustration regarding the Tachash article. While the topic is to my mind a Jewish one, there are other opinions and the goal of wikipedia is to offer a neutral point of view on the subject. Your best option, if you'd like to make a difference, is to make sure that your viewpoint is fairly represented among the perspectives. Best of luck and I look forward to seeing your input on many more articles.Joe407 (talk) 04:14, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral point of view

[edit]

You've written "Jewish sacred topics should be treated by Jews and according to the Sacred Traditions of Israel." This is not what our policies call for. Please read WP:NPOV which says " Editors must write articles from a neutral point of view, representing all significant views fairly, proportionately, and without bias." What is it that you are declining above? Dougweller (talk) 06:49, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I see elsewhere that you are trying to decline becoming a member of the Wikipedia community. All editors are part of the Wikipedia community, so it's something you can't decline - the policies and guidelines apply to you as much as to anyone else. Dougweller (talk) 09:30, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
