Libertarian user box

Is it alright if I can improve the user box that you made for the Libertarian party? John R G 17:30, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hal Turner

[edit]

On the Hal Turner AfD page, you say "he's notable for his involvement in the death of a federal judge's family". I'm just curious about this... Didn't the murderer of Lefkow's father and husband turn out to be unconnected to either Turner or (Matthew) Hale? What Turner seems to have done was first make a comment about how Lefkow "deserved to be killed", and he celebrated when her father and husband were killed. He's a really scummy guy, and I would be interested to read anything about a possible role of his in the killings. Thanks for your time, Edward Wakelin 22:46, 2 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

What you said is fairly accurate. From what I've read, his involvement was little more than inspirational, he had no 'real' connection other than advocating the killing(s). Obviously he was never tried or convicted for his involvement, as nothing could be proven. But many people do believe he was involved, at least somewhat. He was also involved in some rally up in the state of New York, I think the information about that is on his page. Ulairix 04:23, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if it had been one of his fans who had killed them, if he could have been held responsible. It seems like saying she was "worthy of being killed" (according to his Wikipedia page) is a way of saying what he means while still being able to deny that he told anybody to do anything if somebody did do something. He certainly does walk along a fine line. The border between opining about killing elected officials and actually encouraging is vague. Ulairix 20:58, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
