Hi, the recent edit you made to Turkish War of Independence has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Great Lakes. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Deconstructhis (talk) 01:17, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Apollo_the_Light_Bearer.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Rettetast (talk) 21:40, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Krifo scholio

[edit]

Dear Esparcadia, thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. I see that you have changed the article Krifo scholio quite radically without adding any new scholarly sources. The sources you provide are interesting, but appear to take a very strong partisan view, and were not published in scholarly journals. Wikipedia strives to use the best possible sources, namely recent scholarly work published in reputable journals, whenever possible. Nonetheless, I have preserved the sources you've added as an indication of the backlash against the current scholarly consensus (which may change!). --Macrakis (talk) 22:02, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Translation of quote

[edit]

Hello Esparcadia,

Would be grateful if you could translate the following quote to English (context)

“I have never hidden that I am Albanian in origin. That would be disrespectful toward the land of my ancestors and many relatives. I am also a Greek citizen. I grew up in Greece, was educated, and learned soccer. In the land that welcomed my family and which I respect in the way I can.”
