Files missing description details

Dear uploader: The media files you uploaded as:

are missing a description and/or other details on their image description pages. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the images, and they will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the images may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 01:25, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter - April 2013

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Kedvesem remix.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Kedvesem remix.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:20, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lilit Hovhannisyan, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.lilithovhannisyan.com/bio.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) MadmanBot (talk) 20:28, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Dubious list of spokespersons for ESC 2013

Hi Eurofan2005, I've noticed you've added a full list of spokespersons to ESC2013 page, however I am slightly concerned over the reliability of the source being used. There is currently a discussion taking place at Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2013#Spokespersons to which your input would be truly appreciated. Thanks, WesleyMouse 22:38, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Sock puppetry

It has come to my attention that DimitrisLoveIvi (talk · contribs) has been operated by the same person that operates this account. Since that account was indefinitely blocked, this means you are engaging in block evasion and sock-puppetry. However, given that this account is from a long time ago and I note that the behaviour which led to the block has note been repeated, I am willing to let it go - on one condition. That condition being that you either state that this is only the account you are presenting using on the English Wikipedia, or declare any other accounts besides this one now, either on this user talk page or by e-mail. CT Cooper · talk 19:21, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

Yes that was mine account but I don't want it anymore. Is it bad that I made another? And this is my only account besides that one. Eurofan2005 (talk) 19:41, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
I'm afraid, yes, it is bad because when you are blocked your right to edit the English Wikipedia is revoked until the block is lifted - if this newer account had been discovered by a checkuser early on then it would have been blocked without hesitation. However, since you are well established here and I have no reason to believe you are operating any other accounts, then I'm going to let it go. CT Cooper · talk 21:21, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Natália Kelly (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Austrian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Eurofan2005, please see the discussion taking place at Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2014#Albania before engaging into potential edit wars when it comes to Albania. The last thing I want to see if members getting blocked for something that could easily have been avoided if we paid more attention to article talk pages. WesleyMouse 16:36, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

I've undone several of your edits in regards to Kazakhstan in Eurovision. We cannot classify them as unsuccessful just yet, as they haven't attempted to participate. They have negotiated with the EBU once, only to be rejected. News reports state they are re-negotiating again. So until we know more, then we shouldn't deem them as "unsuccessful", purely because we would be providing false publication of what the sources actually state. WesleyMouse 19:33, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Wesley Mouse. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Eurovision Song Contest 2014, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The source used for Czech Republic belongs to a blog website which are not permitted per WP:BLOGS as they are deemed to be unreliable. Please be cautious in future when using sources. File permission problem with File:Ivi Adamou campaign poster.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Ivi Adamou campaign poster.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:10, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

Better source request for File:Stars Dance Tour.jpg

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 21:14, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

Ways to improve Ponane Oi Agapes

Hi, I'm Matty.007. Eurofan2005, thanks for creating Ponane Oi Agapes!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Just needs a little expansion, but otherwise looks good!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Matty.007 17:48, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Ponane Oi Agapes.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Ponane Oi Agapes.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Signatures

Hi Eurofan

I've notice that you are using the Eurovision heart logo in your Wikipedia signature. Not sure if you are aware but images of any kind are not allowed per guidance at Wikipedia:Signatures#Images. So it would be advisable for you to remove the image immediately. WesleyMouse 20:34, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Okay I'll put a sign or something else instead. I didn't know. Thanks for informing me. Dimitris 20:36, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
You're very welcome. I know that my signature looks as though it has an image, but thankfully I used a ♦ symbol that is found in many type-faces. WesleyMouse 20:39, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your recent edit to the above named template. However, I have reverted the addition, as it is not normal practice to show TBD on these templates whatsoever. These particular templates need to show actual information, and not "unknown" TBD's. Only add the host city/venue information to this template once the details have been confirmed at a later date. WesleyMouse 17:24, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
