Student moving draft to mainspace

[edit]

Hello! Just flagging that I've moved a student's draft back to userspace as they have (for the second time) tried to move it to mainspace despite it not being ready (and partially duplicating an existing article). I left a note for the student, but wanted to let you know in case you wish to have a quiet word. Thanks! firefly ( t · c ) 08:43, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Question regarding interactions with students

[edit]

Hi Elizabeth, I've come across some edits by user accounts that I've since realized are your students in a university class. Please let me know if I should refrain from providing tips/commentary regarding sources etc while the students are still exploring and working on their drafts. I'm fairly new here and while I've seen notices on talk pages regarding past courses I've never "seen" a course take place, so I don't know whether there is an agreed-upon process for the interaction of students with other Wikipedia editors. In any case, I'm looking forward to your students' contributions to Wikipedia.--TempusTacet (talk) 07:35, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
