Etymology

Blend of feminine +‎ phenomenon, coined by Chappell Roan in her 2022 single Femininomenon. Chappell created the word because it was "a phenomenon if sleeping with a man was better than sleeping with a girl".[1] She expanded on this in a reddit comment.[2]
