Samuel Azu Crabbe J.S.C (18 ga Nuwamba 1918 - 15 ga Satumba 2005) ya kasance lauya dan kasar Ghana, lauya kuma lauya. Shi ne Alkalin Alkalan Ghana na biyar tun lokacin da ta zama kasa mai cin gashin kanta.[1].

An haifi Samuel Azu Crabbe a James Town, wani yanki na Accra, babban birnin Ghana.[2] Ya yi karatun sakandare a Accra Academy inda ya kasance babban yaro a 1939, ya kuma yi karatu a Kwalejin Achimota.[3] Daga nan ya zarce zuwa Jami'ar Kwalejin Landan, inda ya kammala karatun digiri a fannin shari'a a 1946. An kira shi zuwa Barikin Ingilishi a 1948. Yayin da yake dalibi, ya kasance mai ƙwazo sosai a cikin wasanni kuma ya kasance kyaftin na ƙwallon ƙafa na ƙarami da jami'a. , kungiyoyin hockey da na wasan kurket.[4]

Azu Crabbe ya ci gaba da kasancewa mai ƙwazo a cikin wasanni fiye da kwanakin karatunsa. Shi ne Shugaban Kwamitin wasannin Olympic na Ghana daga 1968 zuwa 1969. An sake zabar shi kan wannan matsayi a 1979.[4]

Samuel Azu Crabbe ya dawo Ghana bayan samun horo a Birtaniya, inda ya yi aikin lauya da lauya daga 1950 zuwa gaba. Ya zama alkalin Babbar Kotun a 1959 kuma an nada shi alkalin Kotun Koli na Ghana a 1961.[4] Azu Crabbe ya yi wasu ayyuka ban da nauyin shari'arsa. Ya taba zama shugaban Hukumar Kudi ta Kasa a lokacin mulkin National Liberation Council, wanda ya kifar da gwamnatin Nkrumah.[5] A shekarar 1967, an nada shi shugaban kwamitin bincike (hukumar Azu Crabbe) don binciken kadarorin Kwame Nkrumah, tsohon shugaban kasar Ghana.[6] National Redemption Council (NRC) ta nada shi Babban Alkalin Alkalai a shekarar 1973.[7] NRC ita ce gwamnatin soja da ta kifar da gwamnatin Busia a ranar 13 ga watan Janairun 1972. A shekarar 1977, Kungiyar Lauyoyin Shari’a ta Duniya ta ba shi lambar zinare saboda irin nasarorin da ya samu.[4] An sake shirya NRC cikin Majalisar Soja ta Koli (SMC) a 1975 tare da Janar Acheampong har yanzu a matsayin Shugaban kasa na Ghana. Kungiyar lauyoyin kasar Ghana (GBA) daga baya ta zartar da kuri'ar rashin amincewa da gwamnatin sa. A karkashin matsin lamba daga GBA, SMC ta buga sabon doka, Dokar Sabis (Gyara) Dokar, 1977 (SMCD 101), ta yi murabus daga ofishin Babban Jojin.[7] Wannan doka, wacce ta sanya masa suna musamman, an ƙara ta cikin littattafan dokokin don kawai a kore shi.

A zamanin Majalisar Tsaron Kasa na wucin gadi (P.N.D.C) na Jerry Rawlings, an sace alkalai uku da wani jami’in soji mai ritaya daga gidajensu a ranar 30 ga watan Yunin 1982. An nada Samuel Azu Crabbe Shugaban Hukumar SIB.[9] Aikinsu ya sa aka bada shawarar a gurfanar da mutane 10. Biyu daga cikinsu, Joachim Amartey Quaye da Alolga Akata-Pore membobin PNDC ne. Samuel Azu Crabbe ya mutu a ranar 15 ga Satumba 2005 a Aburi a Yankin Gabashin Ghana. Ya bar mata daya, yara biyar da jikoki tara.[11].
