As the environment/character artist for the team, I really appreciate your comment.  I had made one map designed for the metroidvania style, despite the "stages", it's all the same png meant to flow between two eviroments. I was honstly surprised when I got a chance to play the game. That being said, I'm glad there was something to submit, a number of team members were dealing with personal struggles.

There is a bug where you can open the barn without going through the garage and getting the note on how to start the car and valve first, but it doesn't impede gameplay,  just confuses the objective.  If you have the processing key, RMB on the correct door of the smaller building next to the barn where you picked up the key to use it.  Thank you for making a video!  It's gonna be a big help when I revise it for the full game.

I completely understand, this was the most complicated game I've made so far so there are bond to be some issues.  I'm glad for the feedback, it's going to help when I revise it for the full game.  Thanks!

I don't see this relating to horror or the theme.  There was a lot of stop and go with the character taking up that much space in the level, I couldn't see the enemies or obstacles well.  Great BGM though!

I like the concept and the carrot is a really nice touch.  It froze after I gave the lightbulb though.  Overall great job!

I was able to get to the end with the download version, not without a few bugs but one only broke the game in the sense that I didn't die when my health reached zero.  Some of there art was nice but some odd design choices, like the dog in the washing machine and 30 levels of stairs.  It has protentional but needs revision if your team continues development.

I agree with you, I think I was more worried about making sure the player can finish the puzzles without getting frustrated by the aliens.  It definitely lacks a difficulty ramp.  But for my first horror game this is great feedback.  Thank you!

I really like this type of investigative narrative and it worked well for your game.  The art is nice and the gameplay is smooth.  I wish there was some background noise like the engine running to break up the pure silence when reading.  Great work overall!

This does not belong here and it's fantastic XD

I think I broke it.  I also saw that it wasn't finished, sorry about that.  Really nice cover art though!

I like this, I think it had a great atmosphere and the darkness mechanic is a really nice touch.  The character sprite is a bit jarring from the environment and I would have loved a sprint, if only to add a sense of urgency to the monster chase.  Great job overall.

I think you have an interesting concept and the controls are solid.  I wish the power didn't run out so fast or there was an tiny indication of when he's gonna move.  I had to sit back and watch him slow walk after door 3 XD.  Great potential though.

I like this game overall.  The story telling as well done, I get a good sence of the main character and state of the world.  The background elements are a nice touch and make a great unnerving atmosphere.  I was on the side of the build and the aliens started saying some truly horrific things.  Great work 👏

I think you have a nice atmosphere, the closed in POV and the empty environment are unnerving in a good way.  I do not like how much damage an Alien can do to my face while I try to hold the RMB, aim and shoot with LBM XD.

This is solid, the story's is great and I like how you captured the theme.  The pixel art is cute and well done.  I missing the horror though.

It's a cool concept, nice art, but more cute than scary.

I really liked the UFO and the tree helped the eerie horror vibe, the ending threw me a bit though.

Theres a smaller plain square building attached to the barn with two locked doors, one in front, one in back.  the key opens one of those doors.

Not what I expecting when I read Door Simulator but it was still really fun!  Difficulty ramp on the boss crazy XD

Thank you! 😊

Thank You for these! I used the music in a game I made for Spring Jam this week.

I made the page, like the discord recommended, at that time, I actually finished it on the 22nd.  I had to prep for my new term that Monday.   But thank you for the recommendation.

Thank you very much! I really appreciate the feedback :D

Thank you 😄

Hi, these props are awesome! Thank you!  They really helped pull my first horror game together.  https://rinsdoll.itch.io/haunted-corn-maze

Hi, I love your assets! Thank you.  I have used other packs for environment design but I used this one specifically for my first game jam horror game.  They fit so well!  https://rinsdoll.itch.io/haunted-corn-maze

Hi, I really loved your music! Thank you!  I used "As the Light Fades" in my horror game. https://rinsdoll.itch.io/haunted-corn-maze

Hi, thank you for the trees!  They were perfect for my first game jam horror game. https://rinsdoll.itch.io/haunted-corn-maze

Thank you so much for the positive feedback!  😊 I'll see what I can do about the attacks and chests in the next update.

My hint would be the church, to get into the church you need to combine the 5 pages from inside the buildings to get the code, I hope that helps

Eeep ok, that shouldn't happen, thank you for your feedback 😻

Jump is supposed to work after you get the third character, you walk to a gap and press space, can you tell me where and what happened to get you stuck? If there's a bug, I wanna fix this for you
