Philosophia Orientalis varias Asiae Meridianae et Orientalis philosophias amplectitur, inter quas sunt traditiones Coreana, Sinica, Indica, Iaponiensis. Aliquando philosophia Iraniae inter philosophias Orientales enumeratur. Sensu lato, haec vox etiam traditiones Babylonianam, Iudaicam, et Islamicam comprehendere potest, quamquam hae philosophiae Occidentales etiam haberi possunt.
