A reporter lets his imagination get the better of him when he accepts a bet to spend the night in a wax museum.

Synopsis for "Mystery in Mid-Air"
A trapeze performer swings so fast that he is hurled into another dimension. The inhabitants tell him this has happened before and the leader offers the man his daughter as his wife shocking him into remembering his own wife. He breaks away from the startled inhabitants and attempts to swing on their trapeze fast enough to return to his dimension but falls to the net even before the halfway point. However, he finds himself back in his own dimension and assumes his experience was just a hallucination until his wife whispers to him that she's glad he chose to return to her. He realizes that his wife is actually from another dimension.

Synopsis for "The Frightful Film!"
Eli discovers film that when retouched can alter the faces in the photos. At first Eli attempts to get wealthy women to pay him to restore their lost youth but he gets no takers so he attempts to extort them instead by threatening to make them ugly unless he's paid off. The intended victims still won't pay so they form a mob and confront Eli. Eli burns the photos which restores their ugly faces to normal, but in the process, he knocks over some chemicals onto his own photo which wipes off his face.

Synopsis for "The Floating Man"
Danny befriends an Indian fakir in a Chinese labor camp and saves his life by intervening when the Indian stumbles and accidentally shoves a guard. Danny gets a letter from his wife announcing the birth of his new son and Danny decides to make a break for it. He asks his friend to write to his wife should he fail in his escape attempt. A guard's bullet grazes Danny's head stunning him and the fakir uses his power to levitate Danny's body up the mine shaft so that he may escape. The effort costs the fakir his life.

Synopsis for "The Too Late Show"
Jason buys an old TV set that shows him the future. Jason doesn't know that the pictures are broadcast by angels who are attempting to get him to reevaluate his miserly existence. When Jason sees a broadcast of his own death he resolves to change his ways.

Synopsis for "The Creeping Threat!"
Paul develops a device to communicate with ants and shares knowledge with them unsuspecting that they intend to reunite with their fellows and eradicate mankind. After ten years of instructing his lab ants he walks outside with them on the way to a scientific conference and stops in a diner to get something to eat. He puts a little sugar on the table for his ants to join in the celebration and when the waitress comes by she sweeps them off the table and steps on them, much to Paul's chagrin, but sparing mankind its grim fate.
