Synopsis for "Death of a Leatherneck"

The Leatherneck Raiders and the Howling Commandos are each sent on a mission to rescue an American scientist from a castle on a Japanese stronghold island. The plan is for the Raiders to clear a path through the jungle to the castle, and for the Commandos to hold back and then take the castle when their way is clear. The Raiders, along with the returning Rolfe Harrison, hold up their end of the bargain but not before Lee Baker is fatally wounded. This story is continued in Sgt. Fury #64.
