Synopsis for "The Omega Effect (Part 3)"

As Daredevil is swarmed by the agents of the various crime organizations, Spider-Man swings in and pulls him from the crowd while Frank fires at the agents. After taking him to safety, Spider-Man realizes that Rachel has disappeared. Still firing at the crowd, Frank informs them that Rachel was the one who shot Daredevil and took the Omega Drive. To make matters worse, the machine that was supposed to destroy the drive was crushed in the stampede.

With no leads on where she might be, Daredevil sends Spider-Man to check uptown while he checks the terminal, leaving Frank behind to cover them. The trail leads him into the streets, but all of the different scents makes it difficult for him to track Rachel's particular scent. He hears something and says out loud that, other than the Baxter Building, there is a place where she could go to access the drive. He races to the location, unaware that Rachel has been listening in with a device.

Daredevil enters an abandoned apartment with Rachel following shortly after. He disarms her and admits that he heard her listening in and spoke out loud so that she would follow him to a place where they could be alone.

Rachel orders him to give her access to the drive or she'll shoot him, claiming to have switched to regular bullets. He tries to call her bluff by reading her heartbeat but she turns on audio camouflage so that he cannot get an accurate reading. Despite this, Daredevil tries to reason with her by telling her that the death of a loved one does not give her the right to kill. As he continues to reason with her, he senses people coming, but is unable to tell from which direction because of the audio camouflage.

Before they arrive, he convinces her to hand over the drive, only for her to be gunned down by Hydra agents soon after. Spider-Man and Frank come to help him, and they quickly defeat them.

Just as Daredevil is about to deliver the news to Frank that Rachel is dead, he sees that she has disappeared, protected from the gunfire by her bulletproof vest. However, she left behind a rubber bullet as proof to Daredevil that she was bluffing. Daredevil wants to look for her, but Frank says he'll find her if she wants to be found. He then leaves, having got the night of fighting Megacrime that he wanted. Spider-Man wants to destroy the drive but they can't since they no longer have an audience of Megacrime agents to witness it. Luckily, Daredevil has come up with a new plan, promising to keep in touch with Spider-Man so they can discuss it at a later date.
