Synopsis for "Super Hero Battle for the Fate of New York and Possibly the World"

After Talos ordered his Abundant Warriors to lay waste to the city, reinforcements arrived in the form of Captain America, Silk, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, the Thing, Spider-Woman, and She-Hulk arrived. Howard briefed Mr. Fantastic on the situation and the latter ordered the former and Tara to find cover. After finding cover, Howard blamed himself for allowing Talos to manipulate him. When one of the Abundant Warriors closed in on Howard and Tara, the woman stretched her arm and punched it, defeating it. Howard wrongly assumed that she was a Skrull, so Tara revealed that, as a child, she gained her powers from eating a Skrull that was hypnotized into thinking that it was a duck. The two shared a hug before Howard approached the other heroes with a plan that involved using Tara to distract Talos by shapeshifting into Emperor Kl'rt, allowing Sam to carry Howard to his position and steal the Abundant Glove. Howard put on the Abundant Glove and saw visions, then asked Mr. Fantastic to "put it in a volcano or something." Howard and Tara walked away while the other heroes cleaned up.

Elsewhere, in space, while the Oracle of Omega was visited by two shadowy figures, she saw a vision of Howard eating a sandwich.
