Trivia
- "What Is vs. What If" (Shang-Chi's story) pays homage to What If? #16, which explored what would have happened if Shang-Chi remained loyal to his father.
- Shang-Chi's fighting style is officially named "The Way of the Deadly Hand", a nod to his title and the true name of his childhood home that were first revealed in Shang-Chi #1.
- "That One Thing" (Jubilee's story) finally reveals the names of Jubilee's parents. Their personalities highly differ from what was first shown in Wolverine (Vol. 2) #72, a story that had already been retconned by Generation X Annual #1999.
- Jubilee has a poster of Dazzler, despite claiming not to know who she is in Uncanny X-Men #247.
- This story also marks the first appearance of Jubilee and Jono as a couple since Mr. and Mrs. X #6, released almost three years before. Their relationship blossomed in Generation X #85-87.
- In “Jimmy Woo 1959”, the Venusian that appears in the story looks very different from other Venusians seen before.
- In "Seeing Red" (Ms. Marvel's story), Kamala is once again reunited with Red Dagger, who she first met on a trip to Pakistan in Ms. Marvel (Vol. 4) #12.
