Agent Rodriguez is a S.W.O.R.D. agent working closely under Tyler Hayward during the investigation of the Westview Anomaly.

Investigating Westview[]

Rodriguez was sent to Westview, New Jersey following the emergence of an Anomaly. S.W.O.R.D. set up a Response Base to monitor. They soon figured out that the radiation gave off a television signal for a show featuring Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Rodriguez was present while Tyler Hayward briefed everyone. She then helped to identify all cast members. Later, she was watching the second episode when a retro S.W.O.R.D. drone was shown on screen in color, despite everything else being black and white. Two minutes later, she showed Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis.^[1]

Confrontation with Wanda Maximoff[]

Rodriguez continued studying the now coined "Hex" until Tyler Hayward and Monica Rambeau sent a drone into Westview. Suddenly, there was a breach. They all ran outside to find a very angry Wanda Maximoff coming out. Rodriguez and the agents pointed their guns at her while Hayward and Maximoff argued. Maximoff then warned them before mind controlling Rodriguez and everyone else to point at Hayward. As Hayward yelled for them to stand down, Maximoff stepped back into the Hex, allowing Rodriguez to be freed.^[2]

Expansion of the Hex[]

Rodriguez and the agents walked back inside where Monica Rambeau and Tyler Hayward butted heads. The two argued about the best way to approach the threat that is Wanda Maximoff. Hayward eventually had enough and kicked out Rambeau, Jimmy Woo, and Darcy Lewis. Later, there was another breach. They ran outside and witnessed Vision trying to escape, although he was being ripped apart as the Hex pulled him back in. Suddenly, the Hex started expanding. Rodriguez and Hayward got into a van and hit the gas, trying to escape. As they drove away, Hayward checked the status of everyone, only to find no responses.^[3]

The next morning, Rodriguez updated Hayward on what they found, now at a new temporary site. Hayward told Rodriguez to notify everyone that was left that they were moving into their next step of the plan.^[4]

Recreation of Vision[]

With energy through the drone from the Hex, Tyler Hayward was finally able to complete his project. He showed Rodriguez a new White Vision.^[5] Hayward sent Vision into the Hex to defeat Wanda Maximoff. Rodriguez was present when Jimmy Woo was apprehended. Woo claimed that his FBI allies were coming, but Hayward called his bluff. Soon, the Hex opened up and they moved in. Driving up to the battle, Hayward got out to shoot Maximoff's twins. However, he was stopped by Monica Rambeau and Darcy Lewis. Maximoff finally released the captives and moved on. Hayward was arrested as the FBI came.^[6]
