He was later in the bar when the rage virus broke out, and was chased by one of the range zombies. Later, he was strapped to a biobed in sickbay after contracting the virus. During the chaos he managed to escape, and was later in one of the ship's corridors when Dr. T'Ana released the cure, in gas form, through the ship's ventilation system. She was splattered with some one the vomit spewed by Ransom, and after Ransom bit her companion, he immediately chased her as she ran away screaming.
She was ultimately infected with the virus and was taken to sickbay to be restrained, however, she was later held back from entering Transporter Room 8 by Shaxs, before being pressed up against the wall by a barricade.
