Kathryn A. "Kitty" Swink (born 22 October 1954; age 70) is an actress who played Minister Rozahn in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Sanctuary" and Luaran in the seventh season episode "Tacking Into the Wind". She also provided the voice of Luaran in the video game Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Fallen.

Swink has been married to Deep Space Nine regular Armin Shimerman since 1981.

Swink commented, "I grew up watching TOS with my oldest brother, who went on to become a rocket scientist. He was always going to be a scientist, but Trek put his head in the stars." [1]

Swink has guest starred in Babylon 5 (1995, starring Claudia Christian, Bill Mumy, Andreas Katsulas and Tucker Smallwood), The Agency (2001, with David Clennon, Ronny Cox, and Heidi Schultz), Becker (2002, with Terry Farrell), NYPD Blue (2004, with Gordon Clapp), Monk (2007, with Ted Levine), and Crossing Jordan (2007, starring Miguel Ferrer and Jerry O'Connell), and Leverage (2009, with Brent Spiner, Armin Shimerman, and with Jonathan Frakes directing).

She became a SAG Health Plan Trustee along with William Schallert and Barry Gordon. Swink, like Schallert, Gordon and Joseph Ruskin served on the Screen Actors Guild Executive Board of Directors and then became a Trustee at the Screen Actors Guild Pension and Health Plan.

In the early 2000s, Swink was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She survived and now works to raise awareness about the illness through PanCAN, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. In 2024, she appeared on an episode TrekTivism focusing on the organization. (TT: "PanCAN PurpleStride with Kitty Swink, Armin Shimerman, and John Billingsley")
